A CAIPS Notes document provides all of the information concerning the application, the whole application procedure, and the well-documented reasons for denial or acceptance filed with Canadian Immigration.
The IRCC employs the subsequent methods to digitally preserve all documentation pertaining to visa applications for both present and future use:
Computer-assisted Immigration Processing System, or CAIPS
Global Case Management System, or GCMS
The computer-aided Immigration Processing System, or CAIPS, is a database of applications that have been approved. Applications for immigration are kept on file by immigration offices outside of Canada as CAIPS Notes for future reference.
Companies choose to use the Global Case Management System (GCMS), which is a more specialized database of application files. The handling officer’s comments are trailed by GCMS. This aids in future applicants’ understanding of their shortcomings and the officials’ viewing pattern.
The CAIPS/GCMS Notes will include details such as:
- The application’s receipt date
- Whether processing has begun
- Date on which the processing began, or is most likely to
- First evaluation and points awarded.
- How significant elements such as your credentials, background, etc. were evaluated.
- doubts or worries the officer may have with the aforementioned.
- verified or anticipated to be verified.
- if a planned visa interview is anticipated.
- Potential topics for discussion (and hence, anticipated queries);
- most likely the following stages of processing.
No matter where your applications are located, we are able to get CAIPS/GCMS notes. The Notes are typically sent within four to six weeks. This request has no bearing on how an ongoing case is processed because these are the Notes from the Immigration file.
GCMS/CAPS The immigration service uses notes that are difficult to read since they are written in codes. We complete the task on your behalf and, upon request, offer a written report.
Additionally, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Immigration & Refugee Board (IRB) may have pertinent records.
